Crescent Moon Boomerangs

Tips/Trouble shooting

  • TIPS ON DIFFICULTY WITH THROWING
      (1) PROBLEM: The boomerang circles but lands too far in front of you….
SOLUTION: Try throwing more into the wind….if that doesn’t help add a little layover to your throw.

      (2) PROBLEM: The boomerang tends to circle but lands too far behind.

SOLUTION: Try throwing more away from the wind….If that doesn’t help try using less layover and throw more vertically
          (3) PROBLEM: The boomerang circles but falls short of returning….

SOLUTION: Try throwing the rang more hard and use more spin to create more rotation.

      (4) PROBLEM: The boomerang flies over your head when returning and is well above a catch…..

SOLUTION: Try throwing less hard….if this doesn’t help try also throwing more vertically with less layover.
          (5) PROBLEM: The boomerang flies too high and then comes careening straight down……

SOLUTION: Throw more vertically, because you may be throwing almost parallel to the ground which is a VERY BIG MISTAKE!!!(SEE SAFETY/WARNINGS).

      (6) PROBLEM: The boomerang tends to dip to the ground too early in its flight before returning….

SOLUTION: Try throwing with more layover and a bit higher up from the horizon.
          (7) PROBLEM: The boomerang climbs high when thrown, but does not complete the circle and lands nearly straight out in front of you…..

SOLUTION: Try throwing lower to the horizon because you may be throwing at an angle that is too high up from the horizon.
