Hook Styles (the colored ones are composite that go longer distance) “Crazy shapes and sizes” Traditional shapes and Throw Sticks Animal Shapes This a “Natural Elbow” made from a backyard Apple tree in Vermont. I used a small hand ax to shape the limb I cut that had a 120 angle, and then gradually shaved it down to an about an inch, before using an electric planer to make 6mm thick. I then carved the airfoil using my metal rasps. All told it took over 8 hrs to create (about 4 times as long as the others)

Recent pics of rangs I’ve made from templates available on the Internet. The top pic (Le Bob Art 1) is Francois Clouet original, that I’ve also uniquely hand painted. The 2nd from top pic, “Spiral” is a Didier Bonin original and I’ve hand painted it with a rainbow effect. The 3 rd from top picture is also a Didier Bonin original called simply, “Fox”. The next picture is a Tony Slater original that is in the shape of the Math equation ‘PI’. I stained one side Walnut and added red accents along the beveled edges. ‘The Turtle’ is a Bernard Bonnier original that I uniquely hand painted. The ‘Road Runner Rang’ is a Didier Bonin original that’s been hand painted to look like the Loony Tune version! ‘Eagle” is a Kendall Davis original that is the last pic shown “Freedhom” is an original Axon Man, and I’ve made 2 sizes and painted the larger Rasta colors and the smaller is simply meant to look as the plant Herb appears. Cheers to the Legislatures recent passing of Industrial Hemp for the State of Vermont! U.F.O Frizzbee is the only frisbee I’ve made. It is thrown in a vertical position, like a boomerang and slowly flattens out as it travels in a straight direction well over 90m!

“Tennis Racket Rang” is an original design of Robert Letson and is very difficult to carve….great long distance flight though that is approx 80m.
